Rod just returned from a very productive week-long trip to the interior with the ministry group. He finalized consensus with all key personnel for the ministry base site plan, the scope of needed renovations to the existing bible school building and layout of additional facilities to maximize use of the property. The bible school building needs major electrical work, a basic field kitchen installed, new roofing and other interior improvements. The plan is to use the building to house bible students who travel in for classes, and to support small teams and clinics on this jungle campus.
The project also includes construction of exterior gravity-flow shower stalls, latrines, a retaining wall, storage bins, a loading dock, and an outdoor covered meeting place -- commonly called a rancho — which will serve the Ladies Weaving Coop or to be used for additional classroom or ministry activities.
With the info gleaned, Rod can now draw the detailed site plans and elevations, do the cost-estimates and prioritize the scope of work. The ministry group has asked us to adopt this project and spear-head the capital campaign, which we have agreed to do. More on that to come.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PROJECT
Thanks to the special funds that many of you contributed toward the VBS project, we were able to match from our general project funds and fully sponsor the Vacation Bible School that Bro. Roduel and his family have scheduled for the first week of December. In past years, they have ministered the message of Jesus Christ to over 1500 children plus on-looking parents and community members. The potential for ministry is so great, and we are beyond blessed that your generous hearts and contributions made it possible!
Let's join God in what He is doing by keeping the VBS outreach and the ministry base project covered in prayer. He is so faithful and good, and good things are happening!

Rod and De Ismael
