Bible Training Ministry Base Vision:
To provide quality bible education and discipleship training for the indigenous men and women of this region at a level that meets their educational needs so they will be able to reach their remote communities with the good news of Jesus Christ and to do so in their respective Mayan languages.
Current Bible Training Center above.

With your help we will improve the current ministry base, which is only 50% developed and in need of serious repairs. These improvements will provide lodging for bible students who travel in from their remote villages, install electrical and re-roof the existing building, install and plumb a  kitchen, build exterior showers and latrines, and create an outdoor open-air meeting space (rancho) for larger classrooms or outreach training activities on the base. The project  will also provide the excavation and drainage needed to maximize use of the entire property as well as install a retaining wall the width of the property, and build a loading dock and storage bins for the current outreach project pavilion(below).

Project pavilion where the Ladies' Weaving Cooperative meets, and where water filter and cook stove components are cast and prepped for outreach to bible students' communities.

Undeveloped portion of the property in need of excavation and drainage improvements

Current Partners:

We work in partnership with the ministry group, Juntos (below) which supports the work of indigenous pastor, Bro. Roduel Perez and his wife Hilda. Bro. Roduel holds degrees in secondary eduction and biblical studies, and worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators for 20 years. Since 1980, Bro. Roduel has spoken at numerous indigenous pastor's conferences and personally discipled hundreds of pastors and church workers in the remote areas. He currently leads the bible training mission in Ixcan. His heart cry:
...That every Mayan hears the life-changing power of the message of Jesus Christ in their own language. "Until this happens," he says, "the Mayan people have not been reached."   -- Bro. Roduel Perez
