As mentioned in our December ministry update, there’s a lot to be done at Hospital Shalom in 2013. Our hearts still burn for teaching & sharing God’s word; for mentoring new believers; for serving to impact lives not just for today but for eternal purposes. We look forward to seeing the second floor expansion project completed in the coming year because that will open a lot of doors to impact lives and minister God's hope.
Between now and when we get back to Guatemala, here’s a look at our upcoming ministry schedule:
- Jan 13 – Our ordination service at Crescent Lake Christian Center, 1250 St Louis Avenue, Excelsior Springs, MO @ 10:00 a.m. service
- Jan 20 - Missions presentation at Christian Fellowship Ministry, Richmond, MO
- Jan 27 – Preaching at Full Faith City Church, 546 Harrison St, Kansas City, MO @ 10:30 a.m. service
- Feb 3 – Preaching at Crescent Lake Christian Center @ 10:00 a.m. service.
- Feb 4-6 – Attending the Midwest Minister’s Fellowship Conference
- Feb 8-12 – Serving with the Mardi Gras Outreach Team in New Orleans
Speaking of AMAZING… We’d like to take another supply of the Amazing Gospel Comic Books with us again. These very effective ministry tools don’t last long. Doris is out of the hospital and improving. Praise God! They hope to be heading back to GT as soon as she is released to travel. Thank you for praying with us on their behalf.
The people and the purpose: Only God knows who will cross our paths in the coming year and what ministry will really look like in Guatemala. We make our plans, but He directs our steps. Please pray for His purpose to be performed in the hearts and lives of each person that He desires to reach through our work there in the coming year.
2013 Financial Support: For the upcoming year we are still in need of additional resources and/or monthly partners. Please pray for favor and open doors to share the ministry vision, and believe with us for God’s supply to be released for this need to be fully met in His timing.
