We begin a new assignment in 2017 of simply
serving alongside the orphanage ministry of Casa Angelina, and we expect great
things from God. We don't have all the details but we know where, and our
vision is clear as we take the next steps.
"We are a global helps
ministry called to come alongside established ministries to help them fulfill
their God-given vision to reach the people God has sent them to."
That's what we did when we took on the
job of completing that hospital construction project that freed up the founding missionaries,
Tim and Doris Spurrier, to focus on the strategic ministry objectives God had
for them, specifically -- starting a bible school.
You don't always get to see the tangible
outcomes of God at work, so it's pretty exciting when things start blossoming
simultaneously. Rejoice with us for what God has birthed through the missionaries we served in the Peten.

A church plant in the village of
El Limon!!!
The Spurriers
worked there for so many years to establish relationships and build trust, and many
of us were so blessed to have co-labored here, serving the people, helping each other, and sharing
the gospel through numerous outreaches.
And now, a Kekchi
pastor, filled with the spirit of God, mentored by yet another missionary, felt
God leading him to move to the village and plant a church.
--The Light
of Life has come to El Limon, and His name is JESUS!
How encouraging! When you serve God and
are faithful to the vision He gives you, no matter how everyday the work may
seem, He connects the pieces and the people and the resources to fulfill His greater plan
and bring to pass the desire of His heart that all may be saved.
